Pop Up Spring Garden About Time

Who’s ready for a pop of spring-worthy color? We’re pretty sure everyone in Philadelphia is tired of snow, sleet, rain and generally dreary weather.

In anticipation of the 185th PHS Philadelphia Flower Show, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s pop-up beer garden on the Avenue of the Arts is back this weekend.

Set to open today at 4 p.m., the PHS Pop-Up Beer Garden returns to fill the vacant lot on South Broad Street with twinkling lights, flowing brews and merry visitors for one weekend only.
The pop-up sprouts this weekend as part of the Flower Show’s Flower Bomb programming and will remain open through Sunday, February 16 from 4 to 9 p.m. each day.
Look for heated tents with plenty of seating, brews from Northern Liberties’ own Yards Brewing Company, a tree-themed LED light display by Brian Hoffman Design and plenty of inspiration to scoop up tickets to see this year’s Flower Show at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, March 1-9.
Plus, to celebrate today’s opening, PHS announced a giveaway of free tickets to the Philadelphia Flower Show for the first 50 visitors to enter the pop-up garden.

How’s that for a sweet Valentine’s Day gift?
