SWEAT Fitness in Queen Village is ramping-up their fitness programs by introducing a new high intensity workout class called SWEATX. SWEATX classes are taught by SWEAT Fitness’ elite X instructors and are customized for each participant’s fitness level and ability.

What sets this program apart is that the classes are capped at ten participants allowingSWEATX Instructor and Director of Personal Training, Chris Harris and his team to oversee each class member’s progress. SWEATX classes incorporate the use of ropes, box jumps, kettle bells, ramps, barbells and interval training, as well as other strength training and power lifting exercises. “The SWEATX program is based on maintaining a low client to instructor ratio and is one of our most important characteristics,” says President of SWEAT Fitness Tracy Shannon. “All participants in the class are taken through a guided warm-up, work on perfecting their form needed for the work out and then perform the workout of the day. Our instructors carefully coach each member through the correct form and are there to ensure the proper do’s and don’ts.”

Sounds like for those looking to shed those winter lbs. it’s a great option. Located just below Bainbridge, SWEAT Fitness has already established itself as a great gym for local residents. For those looking for individual attention, this is a viable option considering that each class is small so you won’t get lost in the sauce.

In case you were wondering just who will be the running these classes as well as their credentials, “SWEATX instructors all have bachelor degrees in the related field or nationally recognized personal training certifications,” says Chris Harris, 105kg Olympic Weightlifter, N.A.S.M and S.P.A.R.T.A certified, B.S. Exercise Science, SWEATX Founder. “With these classes, members can expect to see changes to their body in a matter of weeks,” according to SWEAT Fitness.

SWEATX small group training classes are held at the SWEAT Fitness Queen Village, located at 700 E. Passyunk Ave., Philadelphia, PA. Members of SWEATX pay $149 per month for unlimited access to all the SWEATX classes, which currently run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6am, 12noon, and 6pm with an additional 6am yoga class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. SWEATX membership also includes regular SWEAT Fitness gym membership allowing members access to all 8 SWEAT Fitness locations, personal training sessions, group fitness classes such as bar, yoga, zumba, cycling, body pump, and many more. Below is a sample of their class.
